Dr Tewary qualified in medicine in 1987 in India. After working for few years as a consultant there, he came to UK in 1997 for a further exposure in paediatrics & paediatric nephrology. He is now working as Consultant Paediatrician, South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare, Stafford.
During his training in UK, he has worked in many hospitals as a Paediatrician from almost all the regions of UK, including Bristol Children’s Hospital and University Hospital of Cardiff.
He has been working with children now for more than 30 years. During this period, he has accumulated vast experience in general paediatric problems including tropical diseases and paediatric kidney and bladder disorders.
Dr Tewary has been awarded with seven discretionary points for exceptional contribution to NHS in various posts.
He is actively involved in academic research and has also represented in many national and international conferences in paediatrics, the latest one is in International Congress of Paediatrics at Athens, where he presented a paper on ‘Management of UTI in Children’.
He has also been privileged to work with 'St George's University School of Medicine' as an Associate Professor.
